21 Days to Create a Habit

A lot of us are fresh off of the Thanksgiving break and if you are anything like me you indulged in too much food, too many sweets, too much beer and wine, and most likely too much sleep.

As we near the end of November you are faced with two choices:

  1. Keep reinforcing the bad habits you picked up through December.

  2. Use the next 3.5 weeks to create new habits that will improve your January.

If you start today you will have 26 days to create a new habit.

Which habit do you want to create before December 25th?

Here are some ideas in case you are stuck.

Health

  • Intermittent fast – 14-16 hrs

  • Daily caloric maximum – 12x your ideal body weight

  • 10 minutes of daily sweating

  • 8 hrs of sleep

Mind

  • Read for 10 minutes a day

  • Meditate for 3 minutes daily

  • Reflect on one win every day

Relationships

  • Kiss your spouse every morning

  • Send a different loved one a text message every day

  • Ask your children what is one thing that they are proud of daily

Wealth

  • Do one task you’ve been avoiding every day

  • Find and save $5 every day

We are happier when we live life intentionally, don’t let Holiday behavior become your normal operating condition.

Enjoy your time and get back to the habits you know will give you a long-lasting impact.

For December I’m offering a FREE 1-on-1 coaching session for anyone who needs help creating a plan for the next 30 days.

This is a great opportunity to work with me to iron out any kinks in your planning and have someone to see past your blind spots.

All the best, Pete Beskas
